DIY With Self Stick Flooring Tiles

But, before you decide to install self stick flooring tiles, it is vitally important that you make sure that you have everything that you need to be successful in your endeavor.  Of course, you are going to need to know that dimensions of the floor area that you plan on covering so that you can purchase the appropriate number of tiles, as well as other necessary materials.  

You want to definitely make sure that you do the necessary test to ensure that the surface upon which you are installing the self stick flooring tiles has absolutely no moisture on it whatsoever.  One way to do this is to tape a two foot square of plastic to the floor and allow it to remain there for 24 hours.  If during that time the plastic ha any amount of condensation that has accumulated under it, you have a moisture problem that must be sealed before you install so that the tiles will stick.
